The remediation process for water damage should begin within 24-48 hours. The sooner the drying process begins, the easier the water remediation process will be. Open drawers and cabinet doors for complete drying.
Remove all contents from the affected area(s) to speed up drying time.
Dry wet contents in a timely fashion.

DON'Ts

Don’t leave books, magazines, or other colored items on wet carpets or floors.
Don’t use your household vacuum to remove water.
Don’t use TVs or other appliances while standing on wet carpet or floors, especially not on wet concrete floors.
